Amarnath Yatra is one of the most famous religious trips to one of the prominent abodes of Lord Shiva. It is said that Lord Shiva used the Amarnath cave to reveal the secret of immortality to Goddess Parvathy. Incidentally, the two birds who listened to the story become immortal. Even today the two birds can be spotted around the holy cave. Here Lord Shiva is present in the form of shivling in the form of ice. This shivling form itself during the waxing moon and reduce during the waning moon.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 – Srinagar – Pahalgam

Soon after the arrival at Srinagar, you get to meet our tour representative and get transferred to Pahalgam, followed by the check-in at a booked hotel, where you will be staying overnight.

Day 2 – Pahalgam – Panjtarni – Amarnath Cave – Pahalgam – Srinagar

The second day begins with the Amarnath Yatra by helicopter. Enjoy the scenic surrounding from the helicopter. Once you reach Panjtarn, you get to visit the holy Amarnath Cave, which is around 6 km from the place. You can either opt for horse or palki or walk the distance and worship and perform ceremonies and get the blessings of Lord Shiva. Once you are done with the pujas and darshan, get back to Panjtarni. Then you are taken back to Pahalgam, followed by the travel to Srinagar. Overnight stay is at the hotel you checked-in at Srinagar.

Day 3 – Srinagar

Departure

Post the breakfast, move to the Srinagar airport for your further journey.
