There are two ways to get to Muktinath from either take a flight from Pokhara to Jomsom and hike for 7-8 hours from Jomsom or trek all the way from Pokhara through Kali-Gandaki valley, which takes 7/8 days. It is believed that one should visit Muktinath temple after competing pilgrimage of four special religious sites, the Chardham, in India. This temple is held sacred by Hindus as well as Buddhists. The Jwala Mai temple nearby contains a spring and an eternal flame fed by natural gas underground. Jomsom is a major center in the Annapurna region.

The sight of the bewildering Annapurana and Dhaulagiri ranges will enchant you as you approach towards Pokhara Valley by air or surface. The next morning when you discover the clear sky and views of mountain, you then discover you are on your special journey to the Muktinath.

Itinerary Details

Day 1

Board the flight from Delhi to Kathmandu. Once arrived at the Kathmandu airport, leave by road for Pokhara through Manokamana Devi temple by cable car. On reaching Pokhara, check into the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast in the morning, board flight to Jomsom followed by a road trip to Muktinath temple. After the Pooja and Darshan at Muktinath temple, return back to Jomsom for overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 3

The third day morning, board flight back to Pokhara and upon arrival, you should have your breakfast and take the flight for Kathmandu.

Day 4

The final day, you arrive at Kathmandu and drive to the airport to return back to Delhi.
